17 August 2016..

SPECIAL  ASSEMBLY @ INDEPENDENCE  DAY
CLASSES  VI G , VI H...

  • SALUTING OUR NATIONAL LEADERS….
  • India is a land of great political leaders who ruled the country effectively and also by protecting its national interest. It was not an easy task to accomplish, keeping in view the changes taking place in the world political scenario. Leaders like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi Bose played an indispensable role in changing the perspective of world towards India. The manner, in which issues like border disputes, Kashmir and growing shortage of food grains were handled, they really deserve an honor. The far-sightedness and pragmatic characteristics of the leaders can be assumed from the fact that they framed the Constitution of India by inducting the best possible clauses of the world. They led the country from the front, without being showing any inclination to either of the power blocs.
  • Though 15th August was a holiday , the students had ample opportunities to express their patriotism on 17th August — the day DAVians decided to salute the leaders who sacrificed their lives for the country. In yet another special assembly organised by class VI G on the occasion, the children came dressed as national leaders such as Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Lal Bahadur Shastri ji and Gandhi ji.
  • The students paid tribute to the leaders and learned about their sacrifice in helping India gain independence.

  • The assembly comprised of a musical cum skit that took students all the way back to PRE INDEPENDENT INDIA to MODERN INDIA. It involved experiences that every INDIAN must have had throughout his life. The purpose of this assembly was to remind students of the hardships and sacrifices our national leaders have been through, every obstacle they’ve overcome and how they have the ability to handle everything, come what may
Conclusion: The assembly ended on an inspiring note by the Principal Ma’am as she appreciated the excellent performance of students.
